Should/ought to : a. asking for and giving advice
ex:You should pay a visit to your doctor if you don’t feel well.
Something should have happened but it didn’t.
ex:Barbara should have told her father before she went out.
Had better : strong advice, threat or warning.
ex:You’d better stop going out with that guy.
